Extremely unusual Victory piles up with two pairs of straw shoes with mother

Jockey Miyashita is 44 years old from Kagoshima prefecture.

When I was little, I got on a horse that my grandfather had and aimed to become a jockey.

In 1995, my dream became a reality, and at the age of 18, I made my debut as a jockey at the Nagoya Racecourse, a local horse race.

In principle, local horse racing can only be carried on horses that were involved in training, so Miyashita visited the horse training ground from the beginning of his debut and continued to make efforts to ride as many horses as possible.

In 2005, 10 years after his debut, he reached the record of 351 wins for female jockeys at the age of 28, steadily building his position as the strongest female jockey in history.

In 2011, I retired from active duty once at the age of 34 before giving birth to my eldest son, but while raising children, I became more motivated to show my son fighting as a jockey, and I have been training for one year. I returned as a jockey in 2016.

According to Nagoya Racecourse, it was the first time in Japan that a female jockey who had given birth returned to the race as an active jockey, which was extremely unusual.

After that, while wearing two pairs of straw shoes, a jockey and a mother, he accumulated victory every day and reached 800 wins in 2019.

Just before that, he fell off his horse, smashed his face, and overcame serious injuries such as a broken nose.

From that time on, I was facing the race with a clear goal of achieving 1000 wins.
