The US professional basketball (NBA) Portland Trail Blazers is a hot topic by showing a video of cheering for Korean students through the club's official SNS (Facebook).

On the 17th Korean time, the Portland club released a video of a cheering message for Korean students ahead of the college scholastic ability test to be held tomorrow (18th).

The video featuring major Portland players such as Cody Zeller, Ben McClemore, Damian Lillard, and Norman Powell supports Korean subtitles.

In the video, the players introduced themselves one by one and posed a 'finger heart' pose while shouting, "Good luck to all the students in Korea. Fighting, I love you."

It is unusual for an NBA club to present content for Korean students.

Domestic basketball fans are also responding, "It's amazing."

An official from the Mailman Group, who manages Portland's official Facebook page, explained, "Since last October, the Portland club has been producing and posting separate content for Korean fans on a regular basis, so they have a special interest in Korea."

Earlier, the Portland club also released a video stating, 'With the start of the NBA season, the Portland Trail Blazers will provide Korean language services for you.'

This is not the first time the Portland club and Korea have had a relationship.

Portland was the team that Korean basketball star Seung-Jin Ha first participated in when he first challenged the NBA in 2004, and Jonathan Lim, who recently started his 8th season as a video coach, is also a Korean-American.

In addition, Simon Yu (Korean name: Yoo Byung-hoon), the CEO of 'Storm X', a uniform sponsor of Portland, is known as a Korean-American of Korean descent.

The Mailman Group said, "CEO Yoo's love for his motherland has led to content exclusively for Korean fans in Portland.
