The Swedish U21 national team was set against Ireland away.

The Swedish goalkeeper Samuel Brolin looked to be the match hero when he was responsible for a super save with less than ten minutes left.

But with seconds left, Sweden went on a real cold shower.

The ball found Oliver O´Neill who placed in 1-0 to Ireland.

Seconds later, the referee blew off and Sweden was defeated.

Still group number one

Three European Championship qualifiers remain.

Sweden still leads the group by 14 points ahead of Italy by 13 points - but then with two more matches played.

With tonight's victory, Ireland is third with 10 points.

Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Luxembourg are also in the group.

A total of 53 teams are divided into nine qualifying groups.

The nine group winners together with the best group runner-up get a direct place at the U21 European Championships.

The remaining eight group runners-up go to the playoffs to replay the last four qualifiers.
