number of the first-team football stars in Zamalek, especially those whose contracts expire at the end of the current season, turned against the administration because of the agreement with midfielder Tariq Hamed to give him 17 million pounds as an annual salary to sign for three new seasons.

And “Emirates Today” learned from sources inside the club that the player Youssef Obama addressed the Zamalek administration through his agent to activate the condition in the player’s contract, which gives him the right to raise the value of his annual salary to the highest Egyptian player in the team, a condition he set in his contract upon renewal before the end of Last season to agree to receive 13 million pounds annually.

The midfielder, Mostafa Fathi, is also demanding the same value as Tariq Hamed's contract, after the administration had offered him seven million pounds per season to renew for three seasons, but he asked for 11 million pounds per season before returning and adjusting his position. financial renewal.

Tariq Hamed demands the administration to get the rest of his dues for the last season, in addition to 50% of the value of his new contract as a condition for agreeing to the renewal.

Despite the administration’s attempts to persuade the claimants to exclude Tariq Hamed from the new contract, which exceeds the ceiling of contracts for first-class players, as it is the last time that he extends his contract with the club until he reaches his 33rd year, the attempts have failed for the players to adhere to their positions on equality with Tariq Hamed.

The Zamalek administration faces a problem in managing funds to renew the contracts of eight first-team football players whose contracts expire at the end of the current season, most notably Ashraf bin Sharqi, Muhammad Abu Jabal, Abdullah Jumaa, Razak Cissé, Omar Al-Saeed and Muhammad Onajem, in addition to the duo Tariq Hamed and Mustafa Fathi.
