▲ KT's Park Kyung-soo is home-in

KT wiz managed to win even the second game with the 'big inning' magic, leaving two wins in the first Korean series win.

Veteran Park Kyung-soo made an outstanding performance in karate.

KT defeated the Doosan Bears 6-1 by scoring 5 points in the 5th inning in Game 2 of the Korean Series held at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul today (15th).

Following the 4-2 win in the first game, KT took a step closer to winning the regular league and Korean series with a complete win in the second game.

Doosan, who made it to the KS for the first time in 7 consecutive years after finishing 4th in the regular league through wild card playoffs (2 games), semi-playoffs (3 games), and playoffs (2 games), showed inferior physical strength and was driven to two losses in the series.

KT starting pitcher So So-Jun won three hits and five walks in six innings, but with perfect defensive support from the infielder who completed three kills in six innings, he won the victory by throwing a scoreless back.

The two teams will take a day off and play the third KS match at 6:30 pm the day after tomorrow with Doosan's home game at the same place.

KT second baseman Park Kyung-soo's lake rain completely changed the mood.

KT starting pitcher So So-Jun walked Doosan's No. 1 hitter Kyung-Min Heo in the first inning.

After Heo Kyung-min stole second base and allowed 2nd hitter Kang Seung-ho to walk, KT manager Lee Kang-cheol went up to the mound and read out Soh So-joon before 3rd hitter Jose Fernandes entered the plate.

Fernandes was very strong with 4 hits in 7 in the regular league against Sook-Jun.

Fernandes' 2nd pitch from the no-outs 1st, 2nd and 1st balls went quickly towards right fielder.

Park Kyung-soo hit the floor and bounced off a batted ball that bounced once, and then quickly threw it to a shortstop who entered second base.

The first base runner was forced out and even Fernandes, who was slow in foot, caught at first base, and the infielder completed the fight.

So Ji-jun, who was shaking, walked through Kim Jae-hwan and then cooked Park Geon-woo with a weak third baseman grounder and sighed.

KT, who overcame the crisis, rather overpowered the baseline with the left wing solo arch of Hwang Jae-gyun, the second batter at the end of the first inning.

Hwang Jae-gyun lifted the slider that was rushed in the middle of Doosan starter Choi Won-jun and sent the ball over the left fence.

Perhaps it was thanks to Park Kyung-soo's rain, KT got rid of the trouble with a flawless defense in both the 2nd one-out 1st base and the 3rd one-out 1st base.

Doosan kicked the chance on its own with a strikeout in three consecutive innings.

In the beginning of the 4th inning, which was being led 1-0, Doosan had a hard time as a follow-up hit did not occur even in a no-out second base, which was caught with a double on the left by leader Fernandes.

Although he dedicated five walks, while So So-jun struggled without a score, kt's batting line effectively divided the winner with a 'big inning' at the end of the 5th inning.

Leader Park Kyung-soo went out with a midfield hit, and Shim Woo-joon connected first and second base opportunities with a witty bunt in front of first baseman.

As soon as Cho Yong-ho got a right-handed hit, he called Park Kyung-soo into the home.

3rd base operations coach Choi Man-ho stopped Park Kyung-soo, but Park Kyung-soo rushed home and scored with plenty of time.

Choi Won-jun, who was shaking at 2nd and 3rd base in one-out following Hwang Jae-gyun's sending bunt, filtered Baek-ho Kang with a deliberate walk to fill the base and aim for a kill.

However, after hitting Yuhan-jun's body and giving him one point for a push, he gave Jared Hoing a walk again to consecrate two points only for the push.

Only after Choi Won-jun allowed three points in the fifth inning did Doosan Bench put Hong Kun-hee, the winning card, to the mound.

However, Hong Geon-hee was hit by Jang Seong-woo at full base, a double for a double, and dropped her head.

It was a turning point in the second game.

After winning the game, KT lowered the starting pitcher and put Ko Young-pyo, the winner of this series, in the 7th inning to lock it in.

Doosan avoided a loss by scoring one point with Fernandes' left-center hit following Kang Seung-ho's priority double in the beginning of the 8th inning.

Young-pyo Ko finished his first appearance in the Korean Series with one run in 1⅓ innings.

In the first game, KT Kang Baek-ho, who left 3 hits and 1 walk in 3 at-bats, got 2 walks and 2 hits in 2 at-bats in Game 2, went down two games and got 100% on base, boasting a sense of good hitting.

In Doosan, Fernandes hit 3 hits in 4 at-bats, including 2 doubles, but Jae-hwan Kim and Gun-woo Park remained silent with no hits in 7 at-bats.

Park Kyung-soo, who played an active part in karate, was selected as the Daily Most Valuable Player.

Hwang Jae-gyun, who drew the final solo arch, was selected as the hitter of the day and took the prize money of 1 million won.
