This came when Sheikha Latifa bint Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum received the players of the Al Shafar team, at the headquarters of the Zabeel Ladies Club in Dubai, in the presence of Osama Al Shafar, President of the Asian Cycling Federation, founder of the Al Shafar team, Shaima Obaid, General Manager of Zabeel Ladies Club, and Noura Al Jasmi, Head of the Women and Marketing Committee in The AFC and Marketing Director of Team Al Shafar Jumeirah, and Fabrizio De Amigo, Advisor to the President of the Asian Cycling Confederation.

The Supreme President of Zabeel Women's Club said: "Caring for and supporting female players is part of the social responsibility entrusted to us with the aim of promoting women's sports and encouraging them to practice sports."
