Head for Qatar! After Germany, Denmark and Brazil - as well as Qatar, the host country - France in turn obtains its ticket for the next World Cup. Undefeated leaders of Group D, the Blues had the opportunity to lock their place for good by winning against Kazakhstan on Saturday, on the occasion of the 7th day of the European qualifiers. They did more than that by delivering a recital.

This match was first the occasion for an

intense tribute to the victims of the attacks that

occurred exactly six years ago, on November 13, 2015. The terrorist attacks had started at the Stade de France.

Manuel Dias, on the outskirts of the stadium

, was the first of 131 people killed that evening.

At the Parc des Princes, theater of Saturday's match, their memories were honored.

Then, the beautiful game unfolded on the lawn.

Impossible to stop this Mbappé

Didier Deschamps and his men knew it: they only needed a victory to qualify.

The suspense quickly vanished against a weak Kazakh team.

Served by Théo Hernandez, Kylian Mbappé, in his garden, opened the scoring with a flat volley with his right foot in the box (6th).

Untenable on the right flank, Kingsley Coman then erased the opposing goalkeeper before serving Mbappé on a plateau for the 2-0 (12th).

The No. 10 of the Blues finally signed the first international treble of his career with an uncrossed header, on a new center from Coman (32nd).

The Opta agency notices that Kylian Mbappé is the first Frenchman to score a hat trick in a competitive match since Dominique Rocheteau in ... 1985.

The France team, at ease in this meeting, gave a boost after the break.

Karim Benzema signed an express double (55th, 59th), Adrien Rabiot placed a winning header on a corner (75th), Antoine Griezmann converted a penalty (84th), and Kylian Mbappé finished the fireworks by going to register a fourth personal goal (87th).

It was well worth a standing ovation from a Park conquered by its striker and all his team.
