Dubai will witness the organization of nine international championships during the next nine days, among the 29 various competitive sports events held in cooperation with the Dubai Sports Council.
A press statement said: "The first international tournament will be the Dubai World Golf Championship, which will be held today at the Fire Course in Jumeirah Golf Estates. The tournament will continue until next Sunday, with the participation of a group of the best players competing for prizes of $1.5 million."
