Seven players in Småland's team made their third straight final, and chased the second straight gold, and that experience proved valuable in today's final in Mariehus Arena.

The clock stood at 5.32 in the first period, of two, when they took the lead with 1-0.

Team captain Hilda Svensson - who yesterday pushed the team to the final - nicely turned away an opponent at the edge and then went straight between two others before she served Edit Danielsson who could push in the puck.

- An incredibly ingenious pass.

90 percent of everyone in here and in front of the TV probably expected Hilda to shoot, instead she hits a delicious sandwich.

Looking in one direction and playing in the other.

Edit was on the notes and managed it in the best possible way, says SVT's expert Håkan Loob.

"High class on the rescue"

Dalarna had a great chance to equalize on a return from close range in numerical superiority halfway into the period.

Goalkeeper Maja Helge then released the club, threw herself sideways and saved nicely.

- It is a very high class on that rescue, that she has time and can save with the shoulder, says Håkan Loob.

Instead of an equalizer, Småland increased to 2-0 only 1.42 into the second period.

A high forechecking resulted in them winning the puck in the offensive zone and Alva Johansson finished clinically in the net.

Solo goal by Hilda Svensson

Halfway into the second period, Hilda Svensson increased to 3-0 on a pass straight over the zone from Jenna Raunio.

- It's a lot of fun to play with the two.

They are really good players who put the passes nicely.

It's easy to play with them, Edit Danielsson told SVT Sport after the first period.

But Hilda Svensson was not finished there.

A moment later, she grabbed the puck behind her own goal cage, went all over the course and splashed there 4-0 which was also the end result.

- We are so damn good as a team.

I think we have three good chains that everyone can go in and do really well in, says Svensson immediately after the final signal.

Jenna Raunio filler in:

- Absolutely wonderful, it is impossible to describe.

I'm so happy, we're so good!

We fight for each other and everyone wants each other's best.

We are a warrior team.

The bronze on the girls' side went to Stockholm who won 3-0 against Ångermanland after goals from Jessica Karlsson, Felicia Åberg and Vega Milfors.
