The club has been shaken by the sex scandal in 2010, which came to the surface this year after players spoke out and sued the Blackhawks in court, a process that is ongoing.

After twelve rounds, Chicago has only taken one win.

Now head coach Jeremy Colliton, trained Mora between 2013 and 2017, and his assistants Sheldon Brookbank and Tomas Mitell are leaving.

Colliton replaced Joel Quenville, who was involved in obscuring the sexual assaults and has now been fired from the Florida Panthers, on November 6, 2018, and thus had to go on his third birthday in the Blackhawks.

"It has been some extremely difficult weeks"

- It has been some extremely difficult weeks for our organization and we must make several necessary changes as we look ahead to move forward.

We know we have to work to get the trust back from the fans, says Blackhawks chairman Danny Wirtz on his own website.

As a replacement for the fired coaches, the club picks up the replacement from the farm team Rockford.

Derek King becomes interim head coach.

In Rockford, Anders Sörensen, 46, with a past in Södertälje, will temporarily be the new head coach.
