According to Jiang Xiupeng, project manager of the project department of the Olympic village and venues of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics in Zhangjiakou, China Railway Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd., during the "Snow Ruyi" construction process, they abandoned the plan of cutting more than 5,000 trees to build transportation roads. Instead, a special tower unit composed of 5 boom tower cranes was used to transfer the building materials to the designated location gradually, successfully overcoming the restriction of the slope on the construction.
And through measures such as the mountainous transfer beam support system, and the division of large cantilevered steel structure hoisting unit modules, the difficulties have been gradually overcome.

Jiang Xiupeng said that the traditional pump truck can pump 50 or 60 cubic meters of concrete in one hour, while it can only be lifted 2 cubic meters by the tower crane in 20 to 30 minutes.
In order to complete the project on time, the project team worked in shifts 24 hours a day, and rationalized the distribution of the overall engineering work content, and finally made the construction progress catch up with expectations.
