The 51-year-old specialist was disqualified for two years at the Kazakhstan championship for taking the team to the under-stand premises during the first half of the match with Kairat from Alma-Ata as a sign of disagreement with the refereeing.
At the same time, a few minutes later the capital team returned to the field to finish the match, which ended in defeat for it with a score of 0: 1.
Earlier, "Astana" issued a statement on the two-year disqualification of Tikhonov.
