A strong-willed William Nylander once again showed that the goal sense is there.

In overtime against the reigning Stanley Cup champions Tampa Bay, the Swede stepped forward and decided the match with his 2-1 goal.

The 25-year-old's fifth goal this NHL season and Nylander tops the internal shooting league.

Prior to that, Tampa Bay had taken the lead in the first period through Pat Maroon.

It then took until the final period before John Tavares equalized for Toronto.

Lehner impressed

In the meeting between Vegas and Ottawa, Vegas goalkeeper Robin Lehner made a strong effort.

Lehner saved a total of 38 pucks when Vegas defeated Ottawa 5-1.

A nice revenge after the 4-0 loss to Vancouver earlier this week.

- If we can continue to build on this, we can continue to win matches, says Robin Lehner after the match.

In the opponent's goal, Filip Gustavsson guarded the box and despite five goals conceded, there were 34 saved shots.
