The Japan Skating Federation has announced that Rika Kihira, a women's figure skating single, will miss the NHK Trophy, which opens on the 12th of this month, due to an injury to her right ankle.
Kihira, who has won the All Japan Championship for the second time in a row, missed last month's Grand Prix series and the Canadian tournament due to the same injury.
