When I was 2 years old (had) that spinal hemangioma, and then high paraplegia.

Later, through self-exercise, you can walk and live normally.

I entered campus when I was 16 years old, and when I was in the second year of high school, I started to study art.

Until I graduated from university, I successfully entered my animation company, became an artist, and pursued a career I like.

In fact, I usually pay attention to our athletes, especially our disabled athletes. They are really worthy of learning and admiration.

When they were at the opening ceremony of the Tokyo Paralympic Games, I was very excited when I watched them enter the stadium in a mint green uniform.

Because that is a place to pursue dreams, and then the dream begins, the state where they struggle and work hard for the dream.

From that moment, I drew the opening ceremony, and then included their games and so on. I also hope to record their wonderful moments from time to time, so that more people can discover their shining points. .

[Explanation] The Tokyo Paralympic Games closed in early September. Chinese Paralympic athletes achieved good results and won 96 gold medals.

Although Ding Jiao spent more than ten hours a day painting and working overtime and staying up late became the norm, his "hand speed" still couldn't keep up with the Paralympic athletes' award-winning "Chinese Speed".

In fact, when I was painting the opening ceremony, I was very excited.

I finished painting in three hours, and I think I'm quite fast.

Then on the first day of the game, there were five gold medals. I also think I can. The workload of the day can be completed happily. I think my hand speed is okay.

Then on the second and third day our athletes (winning) got faster and faster, and then I found that I couldn't keep up.

It's almost from nine in the morning to two or three in the morning, four or five in the morning, which is actually normal.

(Hand speed) couldn't keep up with (winning speed). By the end of the competition, I only finished 42 (frames).

[Explanation] Although the competition is over, Ding Jiao has no choice to stop, because in her opinion, the Paralympic athletes overcome their physical defects, have dreams, perseverance, bravely fight for medals, and show the world the image of the disabled in China. The champions learn and use brushes to record touching moments and beautiful lives.

On the eve of the National Day, she completed 96 portraits of the Paralympic champion.

Their spirit and perseverance inspired me deeply.

I want to learn from them, so I don't want to give up halfway, and the champions are also waiting for my comic.

Although the wrist still hurts, I tried to finish drawing them all.

Because we are all disabled, it is said that we can feel the difficulty of each other. We all know how difficult it is for us to work hard to grow up and become a good self in this living environment. .

So when they gave me recognition and blessings, they were really happy, and then they felt very happy.

(I) want to do more meaningful things, to record more beautiful things.

[Explanation] Out of his love for comics, Ding Jiao tried to create different styles of comics in his spare time, and gradually won the praise of his colleagues.

In the process of creating comics, Ding Jiao blended into his personal emotions, painted others, but also painted himself.

Speaking of the future, she intends to pass on experience and help more disabled people achieve self-reliance and self-reliance.
