(Winter Olympics asks "Ji") How good is the variable-angle oblique elevator used by "Xue Ruyi"?

China News Service, Zhangjiakou, November 3, as China's first Winter Olympics ski jumping venue that meets international standards, the top of "Xue Ruyi" has a drop of more than 160 meters from the ground.

During the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, how to quickly realize the on-site traffic conversion of skiers and help them to pass between the lower part of "Snow Ruyi" and the athlete's starting area at the top?

This requires the "Snow Ruyi" variable-angle oblique elevator to play a role.

On the "Snow Ruyi" side, a variable-angle oblique elevator whose operating angle changes with the mountain terrain has been put into use.

It is understood that this oblique elevator is specially designed and produced for the special shape of "Snow Ruyi" and the use of competitions.

It is currently the world's fastest variable-grade sloping elevator, with a total length of 259 meters and a speed of 2.5 meters per second, which is 5 times the speed of the current common variable-grade sloping elevator.

The elevator track is built according to the trend of the mountain, with a section of arc-shaped track in the middle, with a slope of 22.56° at the slowest point and 39.56° at the steepest point.

In order to run smoothly and quickly on the slope angle with a difference of nearly 20°, a series of complex equipment improvements and technical debugging are required.

To this end, technicians installed servo drives, level sensors and anti-overturning devices on the elevator.

At the same time, the system has been debugged for a long time under different working conditions, so that the oblique elevator can maintain a constant speed and level operation on steep and gentle slopes.

In order to deal with emergencies, the elevator is also equipped with a speed limiter, which is linked with the safety gear to ensure the safe operation of the elevator.

In addition, the lowest temperature in winter in Zhangjiakou is below -30°C, and the low temperature operation of the inclined ladder of this project is a huge challenge.

In order to solve the problem of low temperature working of components, mature material technology and engineering experience are required. In addition, because the equipment is exposed to the outdoor environment all the year round, the waterproof, dustproof and anti-corrosion requirements of the car, guide rail and other components are also very high.
