There is a lot of routine in the squad.

Jamina Roberts, Nathalie Hagman and Carin Strömberg are a given part of the World Cup squad.

16 players were taken out but there is also room for two more.

Four players will make up for two extra places.

One of them is 19-year-old Nina Koppang, half-sister of the national football team's striker Stina Blackstenius.

Koppang made his A-team debut in April when Sweden met Hungary in the World Cup qualifiers.

Unexpected debutant

A more unexpected selection was 22-year-old Clara Lerby, who is making her World Cup debut.

Her national team debut came just over a month and a half ago when Sweden faced Iceland in the European Championship qualifiers.

- I was shocked and happy (when I received the message), but most shocked, says Lerby at the press conference.

Sweden plays in Group D together with the Netherlands, Puerto Rico and Uzbekistan.
