Matar and Al-Anzi invited to the national team before facing South Korea

The technical staff of the UAE national football team, led by Dutchman Marvik, announced an expanded list of 28 players in preparation for its next matches against South Korea and Lebanon on the 11th and 16th of this month in the decisive round of the Asian qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup.
The list witnessed the return of veteran unit leader Ismail Matar, 38, to the national team again, after a long absence, along with the return of the current Kalba Union player and former Al-Ain player Muhannad Al-Enezi, 36.
The list also included, Ali Khasif, Adel Al Hosani, Mohammed Al Shamsi, Khaled Issa, Bandar Al Ahbabi, Abdel Aziz Haykal, Mohammed Al Attas, Salem Sultan, Walid Abbas, Ahmed Rashid, Mohammed Barghash, Al Hassan Saleh, Ali Salmin, Majid Rashid, Yahya Nader, Abdullah Ramadan, Abdullah Hamad, Mohammed Abbas, Tahnoon Al Zaabi, Fabio de Lima, Mohammed Juma and Hareb. Abdullah, Caio Canedo, Khalil Al Hammadi, Ali Mabkhout and Sebastian Tigali.
