The Jordanian League begins assigning “Hikma” a woman to manage men’s matches

Sources in the Jordan Football Association said that the intention is to appoint a referee instead of a referee, to manage the match between the two teams of Sahab and Al-Baqaa, which will be held tomorrow, as part of the competitions of the last round of the Jordanian Professional League for men.

According to information published by the Jordanian newspaper "Al-Ghad" today, this bold step comes within the framework of the union's endeavor to develop women's arbitration and enhance the women's confidence in themselves.

If the Football Association implements this approach, it will be the first time that a woman will lead a match in the professional league in particular, and in the men's tournaments in general.

It is noteworthy that the result of the match between Sahab and Al-Baqqa will not affect the competition for the league title or relegation from the relegation specter.

It is worth noting that many European men's football leagues have begun to use referees to manage matches.
