30-year-old Bengtsson is still not fully recovered from the severe hand injury he suffered at the Swedish Championships last year.

- I have more and more started to accept that this is my new 100 percent.

Still feels better now than it has done all season, so I'm looking forward to GGN.

There are many challengers about the victory and among the competitors is, among others, last year's winner Mikael Persson who loaded with training on Gotland.

- With the results in hand, I feel damn well prepared and think it can go really well, says Mikael Persson.

National team colleague Albin Elowson, winner 2018 and multiple runner-up in GGN, has just like Persson been on the island in advance and charged before Saturday.

- I have a good feeling in my body and have gotten on the bike well.

The course looks great, it is not as wet as it has been in previous years.

According to the weather reports, it will stay quite nice until the competition, so I think it will be good, says Elowson to SVT Sport.

 "Run for profit"

A total of 3030 drivers registered this year, of which 2000 drive on Sunday.

The elite starts at 12.30 and Elowson has the plan ready for how he wants to set the pace on the 22 kilometer long course during the three hours the competition runs.

- I mentally adjust to the fact that I have to be a little tougher in the beginning so I do not let the string go.

Without me trying to be part of getting a good start, then it's just letting the "ball roll" and doing its best.

So you get to see where you end up, but I drive for profit and it will be great fun to go on Gotland this year.
