Manchester United relieves pressure on Solskjaer and defeats Tottenham by three

Manchester United crushed Tottenham Hotspur 3-0 with goals from Cristiano Ronaldo, Edinson Cavani and Marcus Rashford in the English Premier League on Saturday, relieving the pressure on coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Ronaldo scored a goal in the 39th minute with a wonderful direct shot with his right foot in the far corner of Hugo Lloris after a perfect pass from his Portuguese compatriot Bruno Fernandes.

Cavani added the second goal in the 64th minute after Ronaldo's pass, while substitute Rashford finished the goals four minutes before the end, to recover United from the 5-0 loss against Liverpool last week.

United advanced to fifth place with 17 points from ten games, while coach Nuno Espirito Santo's team, who did not pose any danger to goalkeeper David de Gea, comes eighth and has 15 points.
