Åberg from Eslöv, went the second lap on 68 strokes, just like yesterday, and is with six under par shared 10th before this weekend's game.

Åberg was forced to start the second day's game by going out and playing the 18th hole.

The first round was canceled due to darkness.

He made a birdie for a 68-round, three under par.

It set the tone for the second round where there were three more new birdies and also an eagle.

Two bogeys allowed the Swede to sign the scorecard for a new 68th, the second lap.

Canadian Taylor Pendrith leads at eleven under par after a super lap of 60 strokes on Friday.

Third in the world

Åberg is ranked third in the world as an amateur and was invited to Bermuda by the competition organizer.

The competition in Bermuda has a relatively weak starting field.

Former US Masters winner Patrick Reed and Europe's Ryder Cup player Matt Fitzpatrick, who recently won at Valderrama, are ranked highest.

Three other Swedes are playing, but for Richard S Johnson and Daniel Chopra it is finished.

But David Lingmerth passed the qualifying limit after a nice 67-round yesterday and is in par overall and a 63rd place.
