"Dubai Cycling Challenge" allocates two tracks for professionals and amateurs

The "Dubai Cycling Challenge", sponsored by DB World, will return to Sheikh Zayed Road again, to turn it into an open track for bicycles, next Friday, as part of the activities of the fifth session of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, which started the day before yesterday and will continue until 27 next November.

Cycling enthusiasts will have the opportunity to participate free of charge in this unique challenge, and enjoy watching the most famous landmarks of Dubai, while riding their bikes on one of the two tracks.

A press release said: “The Dubai Cycling Challenge consists of two tracks, one of which is 14 kilometers long, and is intended for fitness enthusiasts and cyclists aged 10 years and over, and the other track extends over 4 kilometers, and is suitable for families, as well as Children aged 5 years and over, and younger children can also be involved by sitting on the designated seats on their parents’ bikes, taking all safety precautions. Participants, whether amateurs or professionals, will be able to choose the path that suits them after registering on the website. They can contact PoD@linkviva.com to register.”

The start and end of the general route, which is intended for beginners, amateurs and professionals, will be in five locations on Sheikh Zayed Road and the Financial Center, stretching 14 kilometres, where participants will be able to choose their preferred starting point during the registration process.

This path provides participants with the opportunity to see a group of city landmarks while riding their bicycles, such as: the Museum of the Future, Emirates Towers, and Downtown Dubai.

The other track extends over 4 kilometers, and is suitable for families and children, and will start from Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard, and take participants on a distinguished tour around the Boulevard and Burj Khalifa.
