Malmö FF player Bonke Innocent is said to have been exposed to racism during Wednesday's home match against AIK.

A man in the AIK heel is said to have made applause and also Nazi greetings on several occasions.

Malmö now confirms that a person has reported to the police.

"Malmö FF has taken note of the police report that has been drawn up and can not stress enough that racism has no place in the stands or in society,

" the club writes on its website.

- We have talked to the player in question.

He did not notice anything during the match but has read about this in the media afterwards.

The player was sad and upset when he heard what had happened, but now wants to focus on the matches ahead.

This is of course completely unacceptable and it is incomprehensible that this type of thing still happens, says sports director Daniel Andersson to the club's website.

Was rejected - but had to come back

The AIK supporter was first rejected for the applause and when he was allowed to return to the stadium, he made Nazi salutes.

- It's all awful.

He is suspected of incitement against ethnic groups.

He was then taken into custody for intoxication and at the same time a report was written about incitement against an ethnic group and people were heard inside the arena about what they saw and heard him do, said police chief Per Olof Söyseth to Sydsvenskan yesterday.

AIK also strongly dissociates itself from the support's actions.

- AIK Football completely distances itself from all types of racism, it does not belong in AIK, not in Swedish football or anywhere in society, says Robert Falck, AIK's chairman, to the club's website.
