Xavi said today in the press conference, before his team's match against Al-Ahly, on Saturday, in the eighth round of the Qatar Stars Football League: "I am currently focused on my work with Al-Sadd, I cannot talk about anything else."

Xavi recently led Al-Sadd to win the Emir of Qatar Cup for the second time in a row and the 18th in the club's history, after defeating Al-Rayyan on penalties in the final match of the competition that took place at Al-Thumama World Cup Stadium, to crown the seventh championship with Al-Sadd since he took over the training of the team.

Al-Sadd coach said, "A very difficult task awaits us, especially since Al-Ahly will be a strong match for Al-Sadd because it needs to collect more points, and it is a good team that deserves a better place in the standings."

He added, "It is a very important match for us. We cannot relax or complacency. We made some mistakes in previous matches. 3 points from Al-Ahly will be important before facing Al-Duhail in the ninth week."

Xavi continued: "All the upcoming matches are strong and difficult. We hope to continue unbeaten in the lead. Everyone plays against us with the same strength, and we will make sure that all players are ready to play the match. Al-Ahly is a good team and has distinguished players, and therefore it will be very difficult, but we are Al-Sadd and always." We aspire to win."
