Djurgården started the match with two power plays but could not take advantage of the chances.

Then the home team struck instead.

13 minutes into the first period came 1-0 for the home team.

Madelen Haug Hansen, who is making her tenth season in Linköping, took advantage of a return from Ida Boman.

The goal was her fourth of the season.

- We have talked a lot about having players in front of goal.

So I tried to take the surface and hit the puck, says goal scorer Haug Hansen after the first period.

The match was not a goal celebration.

The second period ended goalless and it took until the end of the third before the next goal came.

With just over three minutes left in the match, Justine Leanne Reyes set the final score at 2-0 for the home team.

The victory is Linköping's third straight in the SDHL.

- It was a tough match and I think we knew it would be goalless, says goal scorer Reyes to SVT Sport.
