Calgary's winning streak continues.

With Elias Lindholm and Mikael Backlund in the attack and Rasmus Andersson in the defense, the Canadian team took their fourth straight victory last night.

Calgary started strong and scored four goals already in the first period.

Just over twelve minutes into the period, at the score 2-0, found a long pass from Andersson to Lindholm just in front of goal and the 26-year-old was able to poke in his seventh goal in the season's sixth match.

Lindholm is Calgary's best goal scorer so far.

Filip Forsberg of Nashville scored the third goal of the season when San Jose was defeated at home 3-1.

Forsberg put a securely placed ankle shot just over halfway into the second period.

San Jose reduced in the third period, where Jonathan Dahlén provided an assist, but Nashville kept out and Finland's Mikael Granland was able to close the match with 3-1 in the open goal in the final minute.
