Professional baseball Softbank has announced that it will not sign a contract for next season with three players, including veteran Keizo Kawashima.

Kawashima hopes to continue working

38-year-old Kawashima joined Nippon-Ham from Kyushu International University in 2006, and then transferred to Softbank in the middle of the 2014 season through Yakult.

At Softbank, he contributed to the team with strong batting and advice to young players, leaving a batting average of nearly 40% against the left pitcher, who is good at playing.

In this season, which is his 16th year as a professional player, he played in 56 games mainly by pinch hitter, with 26 hits in 109 at bats and a batting average of 20%, 3 minutes and 9 minutes.

Kawashima, who was interviewed at the PayPay Dome in Fukuoka City, said, "I'm still in good spirits and excited at bat. Of course, if there is a team that says I need it, I'll definitely contribute." Showed his intention to continue.

The team also announced that it will not sign a contract for next season with 15th year veteran and catcher Hiroaki Takaya and 10th year Go Kamamoto.
