The head of the Referees Committee of the Egyptian Football Association, Essam Abdel-Fattah, confirmed that he supports the assignment of the top match between Al-Ahly and Zamalek, scheduled for next November 5, in the third round of the league competitions, to local referees.
Essam Abdel-Fattah said in a televised statement to Al-Nahar channel on Monday night that the Egyptian refereeing team will manage the summit match, and it supports this approach.
He added, "We must put confidence in the Egyptian arbitration, and we saw that last season in the Al-Ahly and Zamalek matches."
