A snapshot of the intervention of the Libyan Al-Ittihad goalkeeper, Moaz Al-Lafi, against the Tunisian Esperance player Hamdou Al-Huni, sparked a state of panic among the fans who followed the match, due to the strength of the intervention and the apparent deliberateness of goalkeeper Al-Lafi to infringe on his fellow Hun, who participates in the ranks of the Libyan team, and some believed that The Hun player will be exposed to a severe disability that will prevent him from playing football in the future.

Moaz Al-Lafi intervened with his foot in the face of Hamdo Al-Huni, to throw him to the ground in the 76th minute of the match, forcing the Egyptian referee Ibrahim Nour El-Din to stop the match for several minutes to check on the player's condition.

Al-Huni left the stadium and was taken to a hospital to check on his condition after the injury.

The match, which was held yesterday, ended with the victory of Tunisia's Esperance, with a clean goal, to qualify, at the expense of the Libyan Al-Ittihad, to the group stage of the African Champions League.

Hours after the incident, Tunisian Esperance player Hamdou Al-Huni published a picture attached to a comment on his official page on "Instagram", in which he reassured everyone about his health condition after the injury he suffered.

Al-Houni wrote: "I would really like to thank everyone, everyone who contacted me, my family or my friends. Praise be to God, a blessed thank you, in which I assure you all that my health is good, praise be to God, and God's payment is greater."
