Quarterback star Tom Brady scored his 600th touchdown in the NFL professional football league on Sunday evening, breaking the next historic sound barrier.

The 44-year-old led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a commanding 38-3 at the Chicago Bears.

It was the sixth win in the seventh game of the season for the team of the seven-time Super Bowl champion.

Brady threw a total of four touchdowns in Chicago, including three to wide receiver Mike Evans.

"I'm just very happy that I've played with so many great players and team-mates over the years," he said. "Nothing in this sport is individual."

Brady made the jubilee pass shortly before the end of the first quarter to make it 21-0.

Evans, however, knew nothing of the symbolic meaning of the ball and gave it to a fan in the stands.

"That was one I wanted," said Brady.

And he got it after brief negotiations with the viewer.

In return for the historic football, the fan received another ball and a jersey.

In addition to Brady, only three other quarterbacks have scored more than 500 touchdowns in Drew Brees (571), Peyton Manning (539) and Brett Favre (508).

Star quarterback Patrick Mahomes suffered a surprisingly significant defeat with the Kansas City Chiefs.

The 26-year-old had no touchdown at 3:27 against the Tennessee Titans and had to leave the field visibly dazed after a hard collision shortly before the end of the game.

It was the fourth defeat for the Chiefs.

The Arizona Cardinals remained unbeaten in their seventh game.

Quarterback Kyler Murray's team beat the Houston Texans by a clear 31: 5.

The German-American wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown and the Detroit Lions are still waiting for their first win after 19:28 at the Los Angeles Rams.
