Professional baseball Doosan pitcher Miranda made a big mark in Korean baseball history. It is the first time in 37 years that the record for most strikeouts in a season set by the late coach Choi Dong-won.

Miranda, who struck out three strikeouts to the new record, started the strikeout streak by striking out LG Chae Eun-seong in the first inning.



After tying Choi Dong-won in 1984 by sacrificing Lee Young-bin in the second inning, he struck out Hong Chang-ki in the third inning, setting a new record for the most in a season with 224.



To the applauding fans and colleagues, Miranda took off her hat and expressed her gratitude.



Doosan escaped from a two-game losing streak in the ninth with a ground ball from Park Geon-woo following Jung Soo-bin's triple in the ninth.



In the second game that followed, Doosan kept their 4th place by holding a draw with a solo home run tied by pinch hitter Yang Seok-hwan in the two-out in the bottom of the ninth inning, one point behind.

The competition for batting kings is getting hotter.



KT Kang Baek-ho hit 4 hits in the match against Kiwoom, leading the team to escape from a five-game losing streak, recording a batting average of 30 to 5 pennies, and catching up with Kiwoom Lee Jung-hui, who hit two hits.



NC beat KIA with Yang Eui-ji's three-run home run in the final, and Lotte defeated Hanwha with Lee Dae-ho's final blow and continued their hopes of fall baseball.
