After the Tokyo Olympics, Kim Yeon-kyung, who had been preparing for the 2021-2022 season in Korea, left for Shanghai this afternoon.



After arriving, Kim Yeon-kyung will be quarantined for two weeks in accordance with China's COVID-19 quarantine regulations before joining the team.



Through her agency Ryan At, Kim Yeon-kyung made a resolution, "I will do my best to show you a good image as I have decided (return to China) after much deliberation."



He added, "Please pay a lot of attention to the V-League women's volleyball game, which started on the 16th, and please support the Gyeonggi-do where I come out. Although everyone is in a difficult situation due to Corona 19, I will follow the quarantine rules and go well."



At the Tokyo Olympics, where she last competed in her life, Kim Yeon-kyung and her teammates worked together with her teammates to defeat Japan and Turkey with volleyball and lead Korea to the Olympic quarter-finals for the first time in 9 years since the 2012 London Games.



After the Olympics, Kim Yeon-kyung decided to retire from the national team in consultation with the Korea Volleyball Association.



The Chinese Women's Volleyball Super League season kicked off on the 20th.
