On October 21st, the Beijing ISU Short Track Speed Skating World Cup kicked off at the Capital Gymnasium.
This competition is the first World Cup in the new season, or an Olympic qualification. It is also the first show of the Chinese short track team after nearly two years of leaving the international arena.
In the first race of the day-the men's 1500m preliminaries, the three Chinese players An Kai, Sun Long and Ren Ziwei ranked first in the group and joined hands to advance to the quarter-finals.
After a two-year absence from the competition, the Chinese short track speed skating team's first show was amazing!
