Södertälje started tentatively from the three-point line, where Jämtland was more efficient with three of five threes made.

The home team instead used their penalty throws, where they sat 12 out of 13 in the first period which ended with a home lead 25-18.

The guests' Steve Harris then stepped forward and accounted for several points under the basket and Jämtland scored something, but Södertälje's Anton Gaddefors gave the home team breathing space through two important three points.

Towards the end of the period, however, Jämtland passed and led 47-43 at the break.

- We want to play a little more controlled, it is too fast tempo and it benefits Jämtland.

We can not concede 47 points at home, then it will be a 100-point match, says the home team's Dino Pita at half time.

Decided

Jämtland entered the third period with a lot of energy, which paid off.

The lead grew and the home team struggled to keep up.

When it was time for the final period, the away team's lead had grown to 71-61.

Södertälje seemed to fold down for a long time, but with two minutes left in the match, it was the home team that had the tailwind.

But the rapture lasted all the way.

It was not a 100-point match for Jämtland, who eventually won 89-84.

The away team now tops the Swedish basketball league after six straight wins.

For Södertälje, it is the first loss of the season.
