Leicester City booked a spectacular 3-4 win over Spartak Moscow on Wednesday thanks to striker Patson Daka in the Europa League.

The Zambian turned a 2-0 deficit with four goals single-handedly.

Spartak took the lead via Aleksandr Sobolev, after which former NEC player Jordan Larsson doubled the score at the end of the first half.

Even before the halftime signal, Daka brought the tension back.

In the second half, the 23-year-old Zambian claimed the absolute leading role with goals in the 48th, 54th and 78th minutes.

A few minutes before the end, Spartak striker Sobolev made it 3-4, but that was it.

Daka has played for Red Bull Salzburg in recent years, for which he scored 68 goals in 125 official games.

Last summer, the 22-time international made the switch to Leicester for 30 million euros.

Leicester is the new number two in group C of the Europa League thanks to the victory in Russia.

Spartak, where Quincy Promes came in after an hour and the injured Jorrit Hendrix was missing, is third.

The game was played on Wednesday because Spartak's fellow townsman Lokomotiv Moscow also plays at home in the Europa League on Thursday.
