The Dubai Sports Council has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Technotry, a global provider of information and communication technology solutions, to develop the management of the Dubai Sports Council’s smart platform according to the fifth generation 5G technologies. New digital services to it to enhance its position as the most comprehensive of its kind, and is considered a base for all sports and community initiatives launched by the Council and event organizers, and the signing ceremony of the agreement was held at the GITEX International Exhibition at the Dubai Trade Center
A press release said: "The agreement was signed by the Secretary-General of the Dubai Sports Council, Saeed Hareb, and the CEO of Technotry, Padma Ravicander, in the presence of the President of the Digital Government of the UAE Government, Director General of the Dubai Digital Authority, Hamad Al-Mansoori, and the Assistant Secretary-General of the Dubai Sports Council, Nasser Aman. Al Rahma, Assistant Director General of Smart Dubai, Executive Director of the Dubai Data Corporation, Younis Al Nasser, Director of the General Department of Artificial Intelligence at the Dubai Police General Headquarters, Brigadier Khaled Al Razooqi, and Executive Director of the Smart Dubai Government Corporation, Sam Lootah.
Saeed Hareb said: "Dubai Sports Council was at the forefront of government departments in the shift towards technology and the abolition of paper transactions by 100%, as well as in the use of technology in the field of licensing and classification of events, and others. Through our partnership with (Technotry), we will be able to provide a digital product to our audience, through the services provided by its platform, to make the experience of exercising and following sports more enjoyable, and it will also allow us to continue to organize great sports events.”
