Thanks to a goal in the fifth minute of stoppage time, Arsenal have barely prevented a defeat in the London city derby.

Against local rivals Crystal Palace, trained by former Arsenal professional Patrick Viera, the Gunners scored 2: 2 (1: 0) - substitute Alexandre Lacazette (90 + 5) saved Arsenal the lucky point win.

The Gunners jumped eleven points to twelfth place, eight points behind leaders Chelsea.

Palace (eight points) is in 14th place.

Former Bundesliga top scorer Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (8th) had put team manager Mikel Arteta's team in the lead early on.

But after the break Christian Benteke (50th) equalized before Odsonne Edouard (73rd) even brought the guests into the lead.

When everything pointed to the Gunners' first defeat since the end of August, the Frenchman Lacazette struck by stabbing.
