The national team is in place in Dublin ahead of Thursday's World Cup qualifier against Ireland.

For Olivia Schough and Emma Berglund, it was quick pucks that mattered.

From gold celebrations after Rosengård's victory against Piteå to a plane to Ireland.

But it still managed to be a quick and intense celebration for the Rosengårds duo.

- When we first realized that we won the Swedish Championship gold, it was completely sick and everyone was in shock.

We realized that we had to make the best of the situation before we could divorce.

We started a lot of music and had fun on the bus on the way to the airport.

We had a good time there and it was a bit crazy on the flight, says Schough.

She continues:

- It was a good atmosphere.

And then there was a bit of singing and dancing at Arlanda.

It was great to have a little celebration before we went here.

"Generous applause"

Once in place with the national team, however, not very big celebrations are allowed Berglund and Schough had to settle for a "generous applause", according to national team captain Peter Gerhardsson.

Maybe just as good as seven players in the national team belong to Rosengård's damallsvenska top competitor BK Häcken.

- You feel that it is enough, says Emma Berglund with a laugh.

How has it been to meet the Häcken players?

- We do not run out of breath and shout 'look at us'.

It's a little more humble.

But they have been very cute and everyone congratulated.

You take it upon yourself, it's nice of them, says Berglund.

“Little incredible

For Berglund, this is the second season in a row she takes Swedish Championship gold after winning with Häcken last year.

- It's a little unbelievable that I experienced it last year and now again, there are few privileged, she says.

For Olivia Schough, it was in turn a long-awaited Swedish Championship gold - the 30-year-old's first in his career.

- I have longed for Swedish Championship gold for many years and been one point away several times.

Sometimes I have felt that I am not meant to win.

But in Djurgården I took the step I was looking for and was ready for Rosengård.

It was the right decision and has gone very well.

It was absolutely magical that we could row home the gold, she says.
