Two weeks after the death of Bernard Tapie, the Stade Vélodrome will pay tribute to its former president this Sunday evening.

Supporters' associations have been preparing this evening dedicated to the memory of the "boss" of Marseille for several days.

The Marseillais intend to set fire to mark the occasion.

This Sunday evening will take place the first match for OM at the Stade Vélodrome since the death of Bernard Tapie.

For the 10th day of Ligue 1, the Marseille club receives Lorient.

For the occasion, we should approach or even exceed 60,000 spectators.

Marseille supporters want to pay a spectacular tribute to the man who was their "boss" and who brought them the cup with big ears in 1993.

"I cried about it"

Two weeks have already passed since his death. But like Mathieu, OM supporters are still thinking of their former president. "I cried about it for a long time. I'm emotional on Tapie and all the Marseillais, I think, too," he explains.

The official OM website promises "a great tribute". A huge portrait of Bernard Tapie will cover the central circle on the lawn. The players will wear a commemorative t-shirt during the warm-up. The family and relatives of the former club president will be there. The stands, they will be fervent as rarely ... or as always, assures Mathieu of the stands. Fervent as rarely or as always, assures Matthieu. "The tifo is huge. I think the supporters, the North side and the South side will set the mood, they will send. And then even the applause, the songs, as usual, as we know how to do in Marseille. Here is the fire that we are going to set to pay homage to him ".

Supporters' associations have been working for days on events to match their recognition for the winner of the Champions League.

It remains for the players to honor the event in the best possible way.

It's been four games since OM haven't won.

And that, Bernard Tapie did not appreciate at all.
