Brose Bamberg remains unbeaten in the Bundesliga season.

In the top game against the previous championship leader MLP Academics Heidelberg, Bamberg won 72:68 (45:35) on Sunday.

The newcomer from Baden-Württemberg, who kept the chance of an extension until shortly before the end, however, suffered his first defeat.

The best thrower of the game was Heidelberg's Shy Ely with 19 points.

Master Alba Berlin has reported back in the league with a clear 92:74 (38:43) at the EWE Baskets Oldenburg. Thanks to a strong third quarter (28:11), the capital club pulled away easily after the break and kept Lower Saxony at a distance. While there is a positive trend at Alba after the second success of the season, the false start is perfect for the playoff contenders from Oldenburg (1: 3).

The best thrower among the guests was Oscar da Silva with 21 points. Louis Olinde (18 points) was also convincing and stated after the game at MagentaSport: “Every win is good and we have also seen that we can hold out against a heavier opponent. At the end we played out a lead and then kept playing and never stopped. We played 40 minutes consistently and then won confidently. ”Oldenburg's coach Mladen Drijencic, on the other hand, is alarmed after the false start with just one win:“ We have to make sure that we get out of the hole quickly. ”

FC Bayern Munich had a sense of achievement. At 71:64 (28:27) after extra time against the Jobstairs Gießen 46ers, coach Andrea Trinchieri's team often made the wrong decisions, but in the end Ognjen Jaramaz took on responsibility. After four defeats in the Euroleague, there are now at least two successes after three games in the BBL. In the extension the guests ran out of strength. Jaramaz said after the game at MagentaSport: “We'll stand together if we lose a few tough games. We have good chemistry and that is the most important thing. "

In the 93:71 victory of Ulm in Crailsheim, Ulm's coach Jaka Lakovic sent former NBA player Felicio into the dressing room shortly before half-time after a technical foul, but then let him play again later.

"He saw his mistake and apologized to the team," said Lakovic about the somewhat strange return campaign.

In addition, the Hamburg Towers fought a 77:70 (40:35) against medi Bayreuth.

The home side had the game under control for long stretches before the Upper Franconians caught up.

But the Towers resumed their rhythm in time.
