Manchester United suffered their second loss of the season in the Premier League on Saturday.

The team of manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer went down after a spectacular final phase at Leicester City (4-2) and remained without a win for the third league game in a row.

Liverpool ruined coach Claudio Ranieri's debut at Watford and Manchester City made no mistake against Burnley: 2-0.

Mason Greenwood, one of the twenty contenders for the Golden Boy Award, gave Manchester United a brilliant lead against Leicester in the nineteenth minute.

The twenty-year-old talent dribbled in from the right and surprised goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel with a devastating shot from distance.

The equalizer of Leicester City from more than ten minutes later was at least as beautiful.

Harry Maguire let the ball easily be snatched by Kelechi Iheanacho, who passed Youri Tielemans.

The Belgian did not hesitate for a moment and curled the ball beautifully over David De Gea in the far corner without taking it.

After the break, there were no goals for a long time, but that changed in the final phase.

Çağlar Söyüncü made it 2-1 for Leicester in the 78th minute from a corner, after which the broken-out Marcus Rashford tied the score again four minutes later.

Leicester completed the spectacle by taking the lead again immediately after kick-off: Jamie Vardy shot in hard.

In the first minute it also became 4-2 via Patson Daka, who hit the far post after a free kick and plunged United into mourning.

The last time 'The Red Devils' won a Premier League game was on September 19 against West Ham United (1-2).

United then lost to Aston Villa and drew against Everton.

Donny van de Beek remained on the bench for the entire match at Manchester United, which still has the connection with leader Liverpool with fifteen points.

Manager Jürgen Klopp's squad ruined Ranieri's debut at Watford by winning 0-5.

After Chelsea, Leicester City and Fulham, Watford is the fourth English club for Claudio Ranieri.

Salah impresses at Liverpool

Ranieri, who turns 70 on Wednesday, was appointed at Watford at the beginning of this month to succeed the fired Xisco Muñoz.

Watford is the eighteenth club in the long career of the Italian, who is renowned in England for leading Leicester City to a sensational title in 2016.

The Watford club management hopes that Ranieri can also lead the team to great heights, but at least nothing came of that on Saturday.

The 'Hornets' lost no chance at home against Liverpool, where Virgil van Dijk completed the ninety minutes.

Under the leadership of Van Dijk, Liverpool kept a clean sheet without any problems;

Watford scored just two shots between the posts.

On the other hand, Roberto Firmino scored a hat-trick with three strikers.

Sadio Mané and Mohamed Salah were also accurate.

Salah's 0-4 early in the second half was the best of the afternoon.

The Egyptian attacker squeezed through the penalty area between three defenders, cut out an opponent and scored beautifully in the far corner.

Thanks to the big win, Liverpool is in the lead for at least a few hours.

Chelsea can come alongside if they win the derby away against Brentford (kick-off 6.30pm).

Josep Guardiola's team won 2-0 at the Etihad Stadium with goals from Bernardo Silva (a striker) and Kevin De Bruyne (shot into the far corner).

Raheem Sterling, who recently complained about a lack of playing time, had a starting spot against Burnley.

The same was true for Nathan Aké, who was posted as left back.

The 22-time international of Orange only played his third league game of the season.

Southampton won 1-0 against Leeds United and Norwich City and Brighton & Hove Albion were left with a goalless draw.
