Japan, the last runner-up in the Thomas Cup, played against South Korea in the quarterfinals on the 15th, and Kento Momota, the world's No. 1 ace in the first singles, lost straight to the world's 33rd place in the next doubles. I lost and was driven to 0-2.



However, in the following singles, Kanta Tsuneyama, who is the 13th place in the world at the Tokyo Olympics, won straight, and in the doubles, Yuta Watanabe, a mixed doubles bronze medal of the Tokyo Olympics, and Akira Koga, who usually teams up with another boy, I won straight and caught up with 2 to 2.
