French President Emmanuel Macron scored a penalty kick in a celebrity football match on Thursday.
Macron was playing in the midfield, wearing a number 3 shirt, and was given the ball to take the penalty kick after a player from the other team dropped a player from his team in the penalty area.

Macron, 43, hit the ball in the middle of the goal, at a low height, and the goalkeeper was unable to block it to enter the net.

He explained that the French president has some football skills, but he was playing without much pressure from the opponents, who let him pass the ball and pass it easily many times.

Macron's team included some stars, including former Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger, and former French stars Marcel Desailly and Christian Karembeu.

The match was held in the town of Poissy, near Paris, to raise funds for the Paris Hospitals Foundation and France, and ended in a draw with a goal for both teams.
