At the Norwegian Sports Gala 2012, Marit Björgen won the prize for female athlete of the year.
But that was not what came into focus afterwards.
- Then I had a dress that was sleeveless and then they saw that I should get dressed, says Björgen in Skavlan.
Her muscular body was noticed in the media and she received derogatory comments and hatred.
- It is because of the body I have become the world's best cross-country skier and I am proud of it.
But in the end you started to get dressed to avoid the headlines.
