Mansour bin Mohammed honors the achievements and pioneers of sports work in Dubai
His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, honored the winners in the categories of the eighth session of the "Dubai Model for Sports Excellence" from players, clubs and football companies in Dubai who achieved achievements during the past two sports seasons, during a ceremony organized by the Dubai Council. The athlete this morning under the slogan "Ambition Without Borders" in the Al Jawhara Ballroom at Madinat Jumeirah Hotel.
Mattar Al Tayer, Vice-President of the Dubai Sports Council, participated in honoring the winners in the Sports Excellence Ceremony, in the presence of His Excellency Lieutenant-General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, members of the Dubai Sports Council, members of club departments and a number of sports councils.
This ceremony comes within the framework of the fiftieth year and coincides with the major global event "Expo 2020 Dubai", while the ceremony aims to promote the values of excellence and excellence in work and raise the level of achievements to achieve the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, And in implementation of His Highness’ directives to always maintain the first position, and celebrate the individual and institutional achievements made by clubs and football companies in Dubai, which would not have been achieved without the support of wise leadership, sound planning and better investment of resources, and through the joint and integrated work between the Dubai Sports Council led by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Council, and the efforts of the heads and boards of directors of clubs and companies to achieve the goals set to enhance the achievements and develop the sports sector in Dubai.
The Dubai Sports Council continued its approach in honoring the pioneers of sports work in Dubai clubs, who contributed to the consolidation of the rules of work in sports clubs and the industry of their achievements and the graduation of generations of athletes who served and represented the country well. During the past seven sessions of this ceremony, the Dubai Sports Council honored 39 of the Sports Action Pioneers.
