Volleyball legend Gilberto Amore de Godo Filho (Jeba) expressed his great fascination with Expo 2020 Dubai, as well as the great and rapid development that Dubai has witnessed recently.

This came during the visit of "Jeba", who is currently the Chairman of the Athletes Committee in the International Federation, to the headquarters of the Dubai Sports Council and a meeting with the Secretary-General of the Council, Saeed Hareb, in the presence of Assistant Secretary-General Nasser Aman Al Rahma.

Geba said: I was amazed by the extent of the development in Expo 2020, and Dubai is the city of the future.

Hareb took the Brazilian star on a tour of the corridors of the council, where he visited the innovation lab, where he expressed his admiration for its contents and the sports activities in the council. He also presented him with the book "My Story" in English by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

The visit of Jeba, who is considered one of the best volleyball players in history, during his presence at Expo 2020 with an official delegation of more than 200 people from Parana state in southern Brazil.

He added, "I have been at Expo 2020 for two days, which is unbelievable. I am really amazed at the Expo site and the technology used in it. While there, the individual feels as if he is in the city of the future, and I have been keen to visit Dubai continuously since 2007."

Geba revealed that he is looking forward to strengthening his relationship with Dubai, and is thinking of residing and investing in it, and said: I hope to start a project to develop the buds and children and support the local talent here in the sport of volleyball.
