Four days before the Bordeaux-Nantes match, the FC Nantes club announced not to open its general public ticket office.

Consequence: supporters who wanted to go to the stadium this Sunday will not have access to the visitor parking lot, on the occasion of this 10th day of the championship at Matmut Atlantique.

The reason for this closure?

A decision of the Gironde prefecture which wishes "to oblige all Nantes supporters (groups, individuals) to go to a meeting point, in order to then access the visitors' sector under escort", as stated by FC Nantes at through a press release.

A decision that comes "too late"

A decision that “deeply regrets” the Nantes club.

"The position of the Gironde prefecture goes against the principles put in place for the dialogue and anticipation necessary in order to organize sporting events as well as possible and thus avoid any unnecessary tension", indicates FC Nantes.

Contacted, the club considers that this decision arrived "too late", not allowing it to implement the means of supervision of the supporters on the day of the match.

This choice obviously does not delight the supporters of the Canaries, who hoped to make the trip to Gironde.
