Shortly after the Olympics in Tokyo, Angelica Moser's pole was broken in a training jump, and without receiving it with her arms, she landed with her head and back first in the pit.

She sustained muscle injuries in her upper cup and a minor lung collapse.

- I managed to absorb the crash relatively well, I remember that I could move my fingers and toes.

But since a week after the accident, I fainted for a few minutes during the rehabilitation, probably due to the pain, Moser tells Sonntagszeitung for the first time.

"Not afraid"

The Swiss have now gone through eight weeks of rehabilitation.

She can jog and do some coordinated movements.

- I do not think that the jump itself will be a mental problem, I am not afraid of the first jump.

I'm even looking forward to it.

But it could very well be that I stand there and nothing works in my body.

24-year-old Angelica Moser took gold at the indoor European Championships in Poland this year, she won at a height of 4.75.
