22-year-old Kensuke Shimizu won the bronze medal in the men's Greco-Roman style 63 kg class at the World Wrestling Championships in Norway after winning the repechage.

The World Wrestling Championships were held in Oslo, Norway, on the final day of the tournament, on the 10th, with three men's Greco-Roman style classes.



In the 63 kg class, 22-year-old Shimizu from Hokkaido won the repechage and advanced to the 3rd place playoff against Hungarian players.



Shimizu was deprived of 1 point in about 1 minute after the start, but after that, he regained 1 point and caught up.



He accumulated points in quick succession and won the bronze medal with a 10 to 1 technical fall win.



In addition, 67 kg class Tsuchika Shimoyama lost to Azerbaijan players 0-7 in the repechage and did not advance to the 3rd place playoff.
